# Track partner companies

Keep brands, venues, festivals and sponsors in one board, with their people, deals and history.
Partnerships is where an organisation keeps the companies it works with: brands, agencies, venues, festivals, media and sponsors.

Organisation owners and admins add and edit partners. Other members can view everything.

## Add a partner [#add-a-partner]

1. Open Partnerships in your organisation's sidebar, under Deals.
2. Click **Add partner**.
3. Fill in the name, company type, status (prospect, contacted, negotiating, active, paused or ended) and tier. Add a website, next step, dates and notes if you like.

## Work the board [#work-the-board]

* Partners sit in one column per status. Drag a card to move it.
* Partners whose next step is due today or overdue are pinned above the board.
* Switch to the list view to see everything at once, and search by partner, contact or next step.

## Keep track of the relationship [#keep-track-of-the-relationship]

* **People**: add the people you work with there. Pick from your contacts so their emails and notes stay in one place, and mark one as the main contact.
* **History**: log notes, calls and meetings, and set follow-ups, just like on a contact.
* **Deals**: add deals with a stage, a value and an expected close date. The list totals your open deals.
* **Benefits**: list what the partner offers, like member discounts.
