# Edit your bio and banner on your profile

Change your bio and how tall your banner is, right on your public profile.
Your bio and the size of your banner are edited on your profile itself, in the same edit mode as your feed.

1. Sign in and open your own public profile.
2. Press **Edit your profile** in the bottom right corner.
3. Click your bio and type. If you have no bio yet, click **Add a bio**.
4. Drag the small bar under your banner up or down to make the banner shorter or taller. Double-click the bar to go back to the layout's own size. With the keyboard, focus the bar and use the up and down arrows.
5. Press **Done** to save, or **Cancel** to drop every change.

Everyone who opens your profile after sees the new version. On a phone, a very tall banner stops short of the bottom of the screen, so people always see your page start below it.
