# Web tracking & consent
Source: https://docs.aden.space/docs/help/promote-grow/web-tracking

Aden's platform analytics and marketing tags, GA4, Google Ads, Facebook/TikTok retargeting, and a GTM container scoped to the landing pages and public artist profiles, all gated by region-scoped Google Consent Mode v2 defaults and the cookie banner.

## What it is [#what-it-is]

Aden measures traffic on its **public** pages. The marketing site and public
artist profiles, with Google Analytics, Google Ads and social retargeting
tags, plus a Google Tag Manager container so marketing tags can be added
without a code change.

These tags never run inside the signed-in workspace. Your tracks, teams and
files are not measured by them.

Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland see a cookie banner and are tracked
only after they accept. Everywhere else, tracking is on by default. Either way,
the choice is honoured by every Google tag on the page, including anything
added later through Tag Manager.

Accept or decline, the answer is remembered. The banner doesn't come back.

Artists can also add **their own** Facebook, Google Analytics and TikTok pixel
IDs to their profile, tracks and albums. Those are separate from Aden's tags
and fire only on that artist's public pages.
