# Live streaming

DJs and cameras go live into the world club, venue rooms and event pages through Cloudflare Stream, from a browser, the desktop app, a phone or OBS.

## What it is [#what-it-is]

Play a DJ set live into the Aden club. Your sound comes out of the club's
speakers, the lights follow your kicks and your picture shows on the LED
walls. The same set plays on your show's public page, and cameras at the
venue can feed any wall in the club.

## Using it [#using-it]

* **Go live from the world.** Open the club, press Go live, pick your sound
(a mixer or audio interface, or your computer audio), then start. Audio-only
is the default: no camera or generated video is sent. Pick a camera to
broadcast video instead. Audio and Video are separate, always-visible source
selectors. Choose Screen sharing for screen video; with Computer audio selected,
the same share picker captures both. No audio supports silent video streams.
Stopping the browser share ends the broadcast and releases its devices.
* **Fast start and clean stop.** Stream announcements trigger immediate playback
with short startup retries. Stop announcements clear the LED walls; a local
WebRTC media watchdog also clears frozen pictures after lost media.
* **Go live from your show.** On the show's page in your workspace, press
Go live. You can when your team is booked on it or hosts it.
* **Stream from rekordbox.** In the desktop app, search "Stream rekordbox to
the club". Computer audio sends everything your computer plays, and the
world mutes itself so you don't hear it twice.
* **Stream from OBS.** Under Go live, open "Use OBS or DJ software" for a
WHIP URL or an RTMPS server and key. Reset the key if it leaked.
* **Add cameras.** On the show's page, add up to eight cameras by name. Stream
each from a phone (Aden app, Stream camera), from a computer (in Cameras,
pick a webcam, USB camera or capture card per show camera and press
Stream; several run at once, beside the set, on the web and in the desktop
app; ⌘K "Connect cameras") or from OBS, then pick it for a
wall at the club's front-of-house desk.
* **Invite cameras by link.** In Cameras, press "Invite by link" and send the
link to anyone. They open it, type their name, pick a camera or share their
screen (screen sharing on computers only) and press Go live: no Aden
account needed. Their camera shows in your list as a guest, and you pick
when it goes on a wall. Stopping or closing the page takes it off the show.
Turn the link off to stop new guests; anyone already live keeps streaming
until you remove their camera. ⌘K "Invite cameras by link".
* **Also stream to YouTube or Twitch.** Under "Use OBS or DJ software", add
a destination: pick YouTube, Twitch or another RTMP server and paste its
stream key. Forwarding works for broadcasts from OBS or DJ software, not
for Go live in the browser.
* **Live streaming is on paid plans.** Viewer minutes are billed to your team
each month. Ask Aden if you need it on Free.
* **Show it on the public event page.** The host turns on "Show on the public
event page" in Go live (`events.stream_public`, off by default); the 3D
world's club plays the sets either way.
* **Hold a show in the Aden club.** Set the show's location to the Aden world
club. While it is on, its acts play in the club for everyone.
