# Run the camp day by day
Source: https://docs.aden.space/docs/help/organisations/writers-camps/during-the-camp

Share files, keep everyone on time, and change the lineup while the camp is running.
## Find today's camp [#find-todays-camp]

**Camps** opens on the camp running today, or the next one to start, with "Day 5 of 7" or "Starts in 12 days". Every camp page has the camp's panel on the right, with its details, people, rooms, partners, tracks, files and links. Right-click any row for what you can do with it.

## Share files and links [#share-files-and-links]

1. In the camp's panel, click **Add document**, or **All files** to open the camp's files with folders.
2. Upload briefs, references, maps or rooming lists.
3. Choose who sees each one: **Share with the camp** for everyone, or **Keep to organisers**.

Files start with the organisers only unless you share them. Contracts always stay with the organisers. Writers find shared files under **Files** in their camp space, and in their team's **Documents**.

Add reference links the same way, under links in the panel.

## Keep everyone on time [#keep-everyone-on-time]

Ten minutes before a writing round stops for a meal, a break or a new round, everyone sees what comes next: "10 min left in Room 2", "Next: Lunch at 14:00". It's a toast on the web and desktop, and a notification on the phone. If the next round is in another room, it says which.

On the desktop app, the camp's day sits in the live rail: you see the people and rooms, writers see their room.

## Change the plan on the day [#change-the-plan-on-the-day]

Someone arrives late or leaves early:

1. On **People**, open their sheet and set the **Days** they come, plus a **Note** like "arrives Tuesday afternoon".
2. On **Sessions**, move their seats, or ask: "Anna leaves Thursday after lunch".
3. Click **Send schedule** so everyone has the latest version.

Groups change at lunch? Use **Split at Lunch** on that room. Every change can be undone from **History**.

## Mark how the camp stands [#mark-how-the-camp-stands]

Set the camp's status in its panel: draft, active, completed or archived. The colour shows everywhere the camp appears.
