# Sync portal

Run sync placements and A&R briefs on one board, from first contact to a placed, licensed track.
The sync portal is where you run placements in film, TV, ads, trailers and games, and A\&R briefs from labels looking for songs. Each brief is a card on a board that moves from first contact to placement, with the tracks you pitched, the money booked and everything that happened along the way.

A business runs it across all the artists it works with, under **Opportunities**. An artist team runs its own on the same board. The team also sees, read only, the deals a label or publisher runs for it: the licence window, the territory, which of its tracks made it and the signed contract. Fees, notes and other artists' pitches stay private to the business.
