# Work your leads
Source: https://docs.aden.space/docs/help/organisations/organisation-leads/work-your-leads

Track every festival, brand, venue or partner you're chasing, from first contact to won or lost.
Leads are your own CRM, for a business or a single artist team. A lead holds a name, the company behind it, a status and priority, an estimated value, who on your side owns it, the next action and when, and your notes.

Find it under **Deals → Leads** in a business, **Leads** in a team, or press ⌘K and type "leads".

## Add a lead [#add-a-lead]

1. Click **New lead**.
2. Fill in the name and company.
3. Paste their socials: one link or a whole list, from any platform.
4. Add the first person you're talking to, from your contacts or as a new contact.
5. Save.

## Work the pipeline [#work-the-pipeline]

* Filter by status, or search by name, company, source or owner.
* Open a lead to change its status in place.
* Set the next action and its date. On that morning, it shows in your [follow-ups](/docs/help/organisations/organisation-leads/follow-ups).

## Add the people [#add-the-people]

Link contacts you already have, or create a new one from the lead. The first person you add is the main contact.

## Keep the history [#keep-the-history]

Log notes, calls, emails and meetings on the lead's timeline. Status changes are logged for you.

## Close it [#close-it]

Move it to won, lost or dormant. That beats deleting: a deleted lead takes its people links and its timeline with it.

A lead that turns into a sync brief? Click **Create opportunity** on it to start a card on the [sync portal](/docs/help/organisations/sync-portal) with the company, contact and value carried over.

<Callout>
Only members of the business or team see its leads.
