# Referral rewards
Source: https://docs.aden.space/docs/help/more/referral-rewards

Inviting people opens features one rung at a time; five friends who really join unlock a year of the first paid plan. Plus the checks that keep one person from clearing either alone.

## Every invite opens a feature [#every-invite-opens-a-feature]

On Free, some features wait for company. Team chat opens the moment you
invite one person. Two invites open receiving demos and lifetime fans, three
open analytics and documents. The invite dialog and the Referrals tab show the
ladder and where you are on it.

An invite is anyone you have emailed a way into Aden: from the invite dialog,
a team invitation, a transfer sent to someone without an account, or a contact
you added. One person counts once, however many ways you reach them.

If you already pay for a plan, everything on the ladder is yours anyway.

## Invite five friends, get a year of Air [#invite-five-friends-get-a-year-of-air]

Your referral link lives on **Account → Referrals**. Share it, and anyone who
signs up through it shows up in the table underneath.

Once five of them count, Air is unlocked on your team for a year. Nothing to
claim: it lands on its own.

If you already pay for a plan, you already have everything the reward unlocks,
so there is nothing to invite for. The card says so instead of showing you a
goal. Should the plan ever lapse, a reward you already earned is still waiting.

A friend counts when they sign up with their own email and phone number, on
their own device and connection, and then actually open Aden. The table says
which of your invites count and which don't, so there is never a mystery
number.
