# Inline editing on public pages
Source: https://docs.aden.space/docs/help/more/public-page-inline-editing

The team and the people who work on a release edit its title, description and story on the public page itself, in place, without the page slowing down for the visitors who cannot.
{/* Generated by `bun docs:publish` from docs/features/public-page-inline-editing.md: edit the spec, not this file. */}

## What it is [#what-it-is]

When you open one of your own public pages while signed in, the text on it is
editable where it stands. A pencil sits beside the title, the description and
the story; click it, change the text, save. The page updates and everyone who
opens it after sees the new version.

You see the pencil on a release you can already edit in your workspace: your
team's own, one your organisation manages, or a song you are credited on as a
collaborator. Nobody else sees anything different.

## What you can edit [#what-you-can-edit]

| Page | Fields |
| -------- | --------------------------------------------------- |
| Track | Title, description, pull quote, the story behind it |
| Album | Title, description |
| Playlist | Title, description |
| Event | Name, description |

Enter saves a one-line field. In a description or a story, Enter starts a new
paragraph and Cmd/Ctrl+Enter saves. Escape cancels.
