## What it is [#what-it-is]

Post ideas is a library of posts that worked for other artists, plus Aden's
release-calendar ideas. Each idea shows what went on screen, how to make it,
why it works, the footage it needs and how it performed.

## Using it [#using-it]

**Open it.** On your team's Posts page, click **Post ideas**, or type "post
ideas", "viral" or "inspiration" in ⌘K. A release plan's Posts tab links here
(the lightbulb) with that song already picked.

**Find one that fits.** Each idea shows as a preview of the post: the hook
on screen and its views in the corner, with the footage it needs underneath.
The tabs narrow the library:

* **Quick wins**: posts you can shoot on your phone in a few minutes.
* **New fans**: hooks made to reach people who don't know you yet.
* **Release promo**: posts for an upcoming or new single, and for gigs.
* **Top picks**: posts that crossed half a million views.

Search, **Genre** and **Footage you have** narrow it further.

**Make it yours.** Open an idea, pick the song it's for, and click **Write my
versions**. Aden writes three takes in your voice, each with the line that
goes on screen and a caption, scored by the caption tester. Nothing of the
original artist (names, song titles, lines) carries over.

**Draft it.** **Draft this one** saves the take as a draft post, linked to the
song, and opens it in the post editor, where you add media, pick accounts and
schedule or publish. **Draft as is** skips the versions. While you edit, the
lightbulb in the editor's bar shows the idea's brief.
