A free tool at tools.aden.space/lyrics (also lyrics.aden.space). Drop a song and its lyrics are written from the vocals with each line timed, or paste your own and they are timed to the audio. Play along with the line lit, download an LRC file, or save the song to Aden with its lyrics.

## What it is [#what-it-is]

The lyrics of a song from its audio, timed line by line, the same way a
version's Lyrics tab does it in Aden. Open `tools.aden.space/lyrics` (or
`lyrics.aden.space`), or search "lyrics" in ⌘K. No account needed.

## Using it [#using-it]

* **Drop a song** (MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC or AIFF, up to 100 MB and 10 minutes).
  Its lyrics are written from the vocals, in the language they're sung, each
  line with the time it starts.
* **Have the lyrics already?** Paste them before you drop the song: your words
  stay as they are and each line gets its time.
* **Play along**: the line being sung lights up. Click a line to play from it.
* **Edit lyrics** (in the … menu) to fix a word or a time. **Time to the
  vocals** times your edit again; **Done** keeps it as you typed it.
* **Download LRC** for players and lyrics services, or **Download as text** and
  **Copy lyrics** from the … menu.
* **Save to Aden** opens Aden in a new tab and puts the song there with its
  lyrics on the version. Without an account you sign up first in that tab.

The song is uploaded to read the lyrics and deleted within a day. Five readings
a day without an account.
