# Insights
Source: https://docs.aden.space/docs/help/more/insights

Charts of your numbers, asked for in chat or built by hand, saved as widgets on any dashboard and shown the same way in Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP clients.

## What it is [#what-it-is]

Ask Aden's chat "how are my streams doing" or "plays per track this
quarter" and you get a chart in the chat. Press the dashboard icon on it and
it becomes a widget on your home or on an artist's dashboard, refreshed
every time you open it.

The same charts work in Claude, ChatGPT and any other AI app connected to
Aden: ask for a number and it shows Aden's own chart as a card.

## Using it [#using-it]

* **Ask in chat.** Name a number and a period ("followers over the last
year", "new fans by artist this month"). The chart shows under the answer.
* **Save it.** On the chart, press the dashboard icon and pick **Your home**
or the artist's dashboard. It lands in the first free spot.
* **Open it full size.** The arrow on a chat chart, or a saved widget's
title, opens it on its own page.
* **Change it.** On that page, the sliders icon picks the number, the
artists, the period, the split (by artist, track, status, platform or
  category) and the look
  (number, line, bars, ranked, table).
* **Build one by hand.** Search "chart" or "insights" with ⌘K.
* **Remove or bring back.** Right-click a saved chart's title for
**Remove**. It stays under **Add widget** to put back.
* **In another AI app.** Ask for a chart; the `aden_app_insight` tool shows
it as a card, and the `insight` tool returns the numbers.

## What you can chart [#what-you-can-chart]

Streams, monthly listeners and followers (from Songstats, once linked on
Analytics, split by artist or platform), plays on Aden (by artist or track),
new fans, releases, new tracks, completed tasks, studio sessions, posts,
events, tracks by status, and income (by artist or category, in the
artists' main currency). Hover the `i` beside a
chart for its definition, source and period.
