## What it is [#what-it-is]

Small tools for artists and producers, free and without an account, at
`tools.aden.space` in Aden's 17 languages (`tools.aden.space/nl/key`).
**Save to Aden** in a tool opens Aden in a
new tab and makes a new track there from what the tool made; without an
account you sign up first. If the browser blocks the tab, the tool says to
allow pop-ups for tools.aden.space.

In the desktop app, picking a tool in ⌘K or the launcher opens it in an app
popup. Picking it again brings that tool's existing window forward. Tools
share the personal web-page session, so saved songs and preferences remain
when a popup closes. Key finder opens this way too.

Old `aden.space/key`-style links keep working: they open the tool at its new
address, in the same language, with the link's key, tempo or search.

New to a tool? Press the question mark in its bar for a short tour of the
parts that are easy to miss (gestures, shortcuts, buttons that show on hover).
Press it again, or close the tour, to end it.

In ChatGPT, Claude and other AI apps, most of them are their own MCP edition
(`mcp.aden.space/lyrics-transcriber`, `/daw-viewer`, `/bpm-tapper`,
`/isrc-lookup`, `/proof-of-creation`, `/snippet-video`, `/key-finder`,
`/midi-editor`): ask in the chat, or open the tool there. The Loudness
check, the Note editor and the drum generators are on Aden's main MCP
(`mcp.aden.space`).

An AI agent in your browser (WebMCP) can use each tool on its page: find a
key, write chords into the MIDI editor, read a project or a master you
dropped, load a drum preset.

The tools also run inside your DAW, through the plugins that come with the
Aden desktop app: on the master, the Loudness check, Key finder and Mix vs
reference read what you just played, and BPM to ms follows your project's
tempo. The drum generators are an instrument, Aden Drums.
