# Add lyrics to a video

Show the song's lyrics in time with the music, from the file's tags, your own paste, or written from the vocals.
Timed lyrics add a Lyrics look, and a lyrics line at the bottom of the frame.

## Add lyrics [#add-lyrics]

1. Open your song in the [Snippet video maker](https://tools.aden.space/snippet).
2. Press the text button, **Add lyrics**.
3. Lyrics saved in the song file come in by themselves. Timed ones play straight away.
4. No lyrics in the file? They're written from the vocals.
5. Have your own? Paste them and press **Time to the song**.

To start over from the audio, press **Write from the vocals**. **Remove lyrics** takes them off.

## Start from the Lyrics transcriber [#start-from-the-lyrics-transcriber]

In the [Lyrics transcriber](/docs/help/free-tools/lyrics-tool), press **Make video**. The video maker opens on the song with its lyrics, on the Lyrics look and the whole song.

Timed lyrics go with the song when you press **Save to Aden**.
