# Plan a release for free

Get a dated release plan for a single, EP or album, export it as a PDF, or bring it into Aden.
The [Release planner](https://tools.aden.space/plan) counts every step back from your release day: the master and artwork, delivery to your distributor, the Spotify pitch, the pre-save, release day and the weeks after. Free, no account needed.

1. Open the [Release planner](https://tools.aden.space/plan).
2. Type the title of your song or record at the top.
3. Pick your release date, then **Single**, **EP** or **Album**. Steps whose date has already passed move to today.
4. Tick tasks off as you finish them.
5. To send the plan to your label or manager, press the download button and choose **PDF**, **CSV** or **Excel**.
6. To work through it with your team, press **Bring into Aden**. Aden opens in a new tab: pick the track the plan is for, or a new track with your title, then press **Add the plan**. Tasks you ticked stay ticked.
