# Export and share a sound
Source: https://docs.aden.space/docs/help/free-tools/kick-generator/export-and-share-a-sound

Download your drum as a WAV, drag it straight into your DAW, share it as a link, or send it back to an Aden project.
Take the sound into your music, or send it to someone.

## Download or drag it into your DAW [#download-or-drag-it-into-your-daw]

* Press **Export** to download a WAV at 44.1 or 48 kHz, in 24 or 16 bit.
* Or drag the **Export** button, or any card, straight onto a track in FL Studio or any DAW.

<Callout>
  In a browser, dragging works in Chrome and Edge. From the Aden desktop app, it works with every DAW.
</Callout>

## Share it as a link [#share-it-as-a-link]

The page's address always holds the sound you're editing, so the link is the sound.

1. Open the **Export** menu.
2. Press **Share link**. It copies the link, or opens the share sheet on a phone.

In Discord, iMessage or Slack, the link previews with the sound's name and waveform.

## Send it back to a project in Aden [#send-it-back-to-a-project-in-aden]

A drum lane in a project on Aden opens here from the lane, with its sample loaded.

1. Shape the sound.
2. Press **Send to** followed by the project's name, in the sound bar. The sound replaces the lane's sample and plays at once.
3. Send again after more changes, then save the project in Aden to keep it.
