# Dig and blend sounds

Explore four sounds like the one you have, step by step, or merge several sounds into one drum.
Two ways to find a sound you couldn't design by hand.

## Dig [#dig]

Under the sound are four like it.

1. Play a card to hear it.
2. Press **Dig** on the one you like. It becomes the sound, and you get four like that one.
3. Keep digging until it's right.

The display's menu lists the sounds you dug from, one click back. Drag any card straight into your DAW.

## Blend [#blend]

Merge several sounds into one drum, with more of one and less of another.

1. Drag sounds onto the page: cards, recent sounds or files.
2. Drop them on **Blend in**, or press the layers button on a card.
3. Each sound gets a row with its share. Raise or lower each one.
4. Press **Done** to keep the blend.

Blended bodies merge into one tone, so they can't cancel each other out the way layered samples do.
