# Manage AI rights
Source: https://docs.aden.space/docs/help/business/rights-deals/manage-ai-rights

Declare AI use on a track, reserve your music against AI training, and license it to AI companies.
Streaming services now label AI music, and AI companies license catalogues. Keep your side of it in Aden.

## Declare AI use on a track [#declare-ai-use-on-a-track]

1. Open the track and go to **Metadata → Details**.
2. Pick **AI use**: **No AI**, **AI-assisted** or **AI-generated**.
3. For AI-assisted or AI-generated, pick the parts (vocals, instrumental, lyrics, composition) and name the tools.

Distributors read it from your release export. On the phone app, it's the **AI use** row in the track's details. Tracks you generate in Aden are declared AI-generated for you.

## Reserve your music against AI training [#reserve-your-music-against-ai-training]

Your music is reserved by default. Its public pages tell AI companies not to train on it without a licence.

1. Open your team settings and find **Reserve AI training rights**. It sets the default for every track.
2. To choose otherwise for one track, change it on the track's **Release** page.

Team admins only. A business can require every team it holds to stay reserved, from its settings.

## License to an AI company [#license-to-an-ai-company]

1. Open **Licensing** and add a licence.
2. Pick **AI licence** as the type.
3. Choose what it covers, such as past use or training, and enter the song's share of the payout.

Aden flags a song share lower than the recording's. AI licensing income shows apart from streams in your royalties.

## Check your catalogue's metadata [#check-your-catalogues-metadata]

On a business's **Rights & deals** page, the **Metadata** button shows a score for how much of your roster has the ISRCs, ISWCs, writer IPIs and song splits that payouts are matched on, and what's missing.
