# Use your trial or a sponsorship code
Source: https://docs.aden.space/docs/help/business/plans/trials-and-sponsorships

Get a week of Pro on your first team, or a sponsored plan from a camp, program or partner.
Two ways to run on a paid plan before you pay for one.

## Your week of Pro [#your-week-of-pro]

Your first team starts on Pro for 7 days, with every Pro feature and the bigger upload limits. Nothing is charged and no card is asked for. Each account gets one trial, on its first team.

1. When you set up your first team, keep the trial (it's already selected), or pick a paid plan to go to checkout right after.
2. To see how long is left, open **Plan**. A **Trial** chip next to your plan shows the days left, and **Plan details** shows the end date.
3. To keep Pro, pick a plan from the list below your current one.

When the week is up, the team moves to Free unless you picked a plan. You get a notification when the trial starts and on its last day.

## Redeem a sponsorship code [#redeem-a-sponsorship-code]

Writing camps, brand programs and partners can sponsor a paid plan for the people taking part, for a weekend, a month or a season.

1. Open **Plan** for your team.
2. Open **Plan details** and press **Redeem code** in the **Sponsorship code** row.
3. Type the code. Aden shows what it unlocks, such as 30 days of Max and who sponsors it, before you confirm.

Team admins only. Each team can use a code once.

If a code is turned down, the message says why: it expired, every spot is taken, it hasn't started yet, or the team already pays for a plan. Cancel that plan first, or redeem the code on another team.

When a sponsorship ends, the team moves to Free, just like a trial.

## Ask Aden to sponsor [#ask-aden-to-sponsor]

Running a writers camp, a workshop, a class or a contest? Apply on the **Sponsorship** page, linked in the footer of Aden's website and in ⌘K. A camp's participants can be sponsored directly; anything else gets one code to share.
