# Change who gets the invoices

Choose where invoices go next when the person who receives them leaves.
Every team and business has a billing email, the address its invoices go to. When the person behind it leaves, Aden asks where invoices go next, so they never land with someone who lost access.

## Hand over the invoices [#hand-over-the-invoices]

1. Deactivate a team member, leave a team, or remove a business member who receives the invoices.
2. The confirmation shows where invoices go now. Pick another member, or type an address.
3. Confirm with **Move invoices and deactivate** (or the leave or remove button). Both happen together.

The leaving person's own address can't be chosen. If you're leaving and you aren't an admin, you can only hand the invoices to another member.

  When you type a billing address that isn't on your team's or business's own domain, Aden asks you to check it. A typo like nova-music.be instead of novamusic.be is easy to miss.
