# Plan and post content from your phone

See your posts and shows by day, get a post onto Instagram in a few taps, and make a story image of any release.
The content plan lines up your planned posts and your events by day, so you see what goes out this week without a laptop.

## See the plan [#see-the-plan]

Open **Content plan** from the home screen. The **Plan** tab groups everything upcoming by day. Tap **Show past** to look back. Search by title or caption, or tap a channel to see only its posts.

A post in a visual format with nothing attached yet shows **Needs asset**, so a week that is still waiting on filming reads as blocked.

## Plan a post [#plan-a-post]

1. Tap **+ → Plan a post**.
2. Give it a title for yourself, then write the caption exactly as it should go out.
3. Pick the channels, a format (Reel, Story, Carousel) and the day and time.

This reserves the slot in your plan. It does not post on its own. Automatic publishing is set up on the web.

Tap **+ → Add an event** to put a show or listening session on the same plan.

## Post it [#post-it]

1. Tap the post, then the big post button. It names the first channel you picked.
2. Aden copies your caption, downloads the image or video and opens the share sheet.
3. In Instagram, pick Feed or Story, then paste the caption.

For X, Bluesky, Threads and Reddit the caption is typed in for you. **Copy caption only** copies just the text.

Once it is live, tap **Mark as posted**. It shows as posted everywhere in Aden.

## Make a story image [#make-a-story-image]

Pick **Share to story** on a track, album, playlist, event or tour. Aden builds a tall poster with the cover, the title and your aden.space handle, and opens the share sheet with it attached.

* **Track**: the "…" menu on the track page.
* **Album**: the "…" button in its header.
* **Playlist**: the share button in its header.
* **Event or tour**: long-press its row.
