# Talk to Aden out loud
Source: https://docs.aden.space/docs/help/apps/mcp-apps/talk-to-aden

Call Aden in a session, a bot's chat or quick create, and get ideas, answers and new items by voice.
Some places in Aden have someone to talk to. Press the talk button, allow the microphone and say what you want. Press it again to hang up. Talking needs an account.

## In a session call [#in-a-session-call]

Press **Ask Aden** in the call's controls, or type "ask aden" in ⌘K, and say where you are stuck: "these chords feel flat", "I don't like this verse". Aden knows the session's track, key, tempo and lyrics and suggests one idea at a time. It writes chords as a MIDI clip into the session's files, ready to drag into your DAW. In the desktop app it also finds sounds in your libraries by how they sound.

Only you hear Aden. What it writes, everyone in the call sees.

## With a chat bot [#with-a-chat-bot]

In a bot's chat, press the phone button to call it. Ask out loud and it answers out loud. Everything you asked, and every answer, stays in the chat with the links and details the call leaves out.

## In quick create [#in-quick-create]

Press the orb beside the box and say what to add. Aden writes each thing as a line, saves or skips when you say so, and records a take when you ask ("record this"). It stays quiet while you sing or play until you ask it to stop.

## While moving in [#while-moving-in]

On the setup questions, press the speaker. Aden asks each question out loud and fills in your answers as you talk. The arrow beside it picks how Aden sounds.

## In the world [#in-the-world]

In Aden's world, press Talk (or K) to order at the bar, start a session in a café studio, set the lights, or ask the club's ticket desk what is on.
