# Read all your chats in one inbox

See and answer Instagram, WhatsApp, email and Aden chats in one list, one row per person.
The **Inbox** in Links puts your conversations from every app in one list, newest first. Someone you talk to on WhatsApp, Instagram and email is one row.

## Connect your chats [#connect-your-chats]

1. Install Beeper Desktop and sign in to your networks there.
2. At the bottom of the Inbox, choose **Connect Beeper**, then approve Aden in Beeper.

The Inbox then lists your real conversations on every network, and replies go out from your own accounts. Without Beeper, open pages like WhatsApp or Instagram in Links and their new messages still show up.

## Connect a mailbox [#connect-a-mailbox]

Choose **New › Connect mailbox** in the Links sidebar. Gmail and Outlook come first. Your email threads then sit in the Inbox beside your chats. Spam never shows, and **Hide demos and promotions** keeps demo submissions in your demo inbox instead.

## Read and reply [#read-and-reply]

* Open a chat to read it and reply. Send photos, videos and files, or drop them on the chat.
* The newest chat waiting on you opens under its row with a reply box, so you can answer without leaving the list.
* An email opens like a chat. **Preview** shows it exactly as it will go out, then send.
* Type **#** in a reply to share one of your team's tracks. Aden puts a share link in the message.
* Music links people send get a card with like, pass and stars. Rating one adds it to your team's demos.

## Keep it tidy [#keep-it-tidy]

* ⌘-click or Shift-click several chats to mark them read, pin, hide, move to a group or delete them together.
* Right-click a chat to add it to a group, hide it or mark it as spam.
* Pick which apps show with the network button in the toolbar.
* Each team has its own inbox, groups and pins. It follows the team switcher.
