# Send Aden events to other tools
Source: https://docs.aden.space/docs/help/apps/api-access/webhooks

Let another tool know when something happens in Aden, or catch what other tools send and pass it along.
Webhooks connect Aden to tools like Zapier, a form or your own system. Team admins set them up under **API > Webhooks**.

## Send events out [#send-events-out]

1. Open **API > Webhooks** and add a webhook.
2. Paste the address the other tool gave you. It must start with https.
3. Pick the events, or leave it on all of them.
4. Copy the secret. It is shown once, and lets the other tool check that a message really came from Aden.

Events include an app being connected or disconnected, money entries added, changed or imported, and booking status or fee changes.

**Send test** checks the address. **Deliveries** shows the last 20 attempts.

## Catch what other tools send [#catch-what-other-tools-send]

Aden can also give you an address to paste into another tool, like a form or a store. Whatever it sends is kept under **Received** and passed on to your outgoing webhooks, so you can chain tools through Aden. Anyone with that address can send to it, so delete it to shut it off.

## Pause or remove [#pause-or-remove]

**Pause** stops a webhook without losing it. Deleting one can be undone for a few seconds.
