Fan programs

What it is

Two connected fan-engagement features:

• Fan feed: open a feed on any show you play, your own or one you're booked on. Everyone at the show scans the code, uploads their photos and videos (no account needed) and scrolls everything the crowd shot in a full-screen swipe feed, most watched first. On the show's page the poster runs the full width, the feed comes right under it with Add yours as its last tile, Upload floats at the bottom, and the show's details sit behind About this show. You can post into it too: a shot from the booth, the floor plan, a link to your live stream. After the show you go through it all, star what's worth keeping, download it, and clear the rest to free your storage.
• Fan program: every artist gets a points-based fan status. Fans earn points by completing criteria: connecting Spotify as a lifetime fan, following the artist on Spotify/Instagram/TikTok/YouTube, using a song in their story, joining the mailing list, and sharing to a fan feed while signed in. At the points threshold they unlock the status. The artist can rename the status (default "Superfan"), change the threshold, tune points and add their own criteria.

Using it

As an artist (team)

1. On a show's page, open the Fan feed tab: the feed opens by itself (or search ⌘K for "create event feed"). It opens with three uploads per fan, live in the feed until the day after the show.
2. The QR code and link sit beside the feed, ready for the venue screens, with QR code for a print-size PNG. The show must be public for fans to reach it.
3. Post puts your own photos and videos in the feed, marked as yours and shown first. Settings, under the QR code, opens in place: what fans can send, how many, the live until date, the title, a message and a live stream link. Each change saves on its own. After the live until date uploads still arrive, but wait for your review.
4. While the show is on, the tab refreshes on its own, and the desktop rail shows the show as a Fan feed moment that opens it. When the crowd reports an upload out of the feed, the team gets a notification.
5. On the phone app: Events, long-press a show, Fan feed. Open the feed, share its link, swipe through uploads, star them, save them to your phone, publish what waits for review, restore or delete what was reported, and keep starred / delete the rest.
6. After the show, sort by Most viewed or Top rated, star uploads, download the ones you want, then Keep starred, delete the rest.
7. Fans → Fan program → Drops lists every show with a feed, and what needs you: uploads waiting for review, and uploads the crowd reported. Restore or delete reported ones.

As a fan

1. Scan the code at the show (or open the show's page) and tap Upload. You can share up to the show's limit from your phone.
2. Tap any tile to open the feed and swipe through. Tap a video for sound.
3. Report anything that shouldn't be there. After a few reports it leaves the feed until the artist checks it.
4. Signed in to Aden, your uploads also earn fan status points on the artist's fan status page (/@artist/fan-status).

Perks: what the status unlocks

In Fans → Fan program, the Perks card sets what fans get once they hold the status:

• First listen: a track they can play before it is out.
• Demo to rate: a track they rate with stars. Their ratings land on a promo in Campaigns → Promos, beside your other listen-and-rate answers. The card shows how many fans rated it.
• Presale code: one code, shown beside your next three shows.

Fans below the threshold see the perks locked under their progress. Once they unlock the status, the page turns into a pass (your name, the date they unlocked it, their member number) with the perks under it. Search "fan perks" or "presale code" in ⌘K to get there.

Getting updates from an artist

Every artist profile has a Notify me pill in the top corner. Tap it, enter your email (and connect Spotify if you like), and the bell rings: new music is saved to your library on release day. On your next visit in the same browser the pill reads You'll be notified; tap it to unsubscribe.
